I.Product Introduction

3D sender is the solution that ordinary LED display achieves 3D display for development. 3D sender and transmitter, shutter type 3D glasses together constitute the 3D display control program.

3D sender support HDMI high-definition data interface. It has the strongest receiving capability of 4K. It has 4 gigabit Ethernet outputs to support supper large screen. In addition, Its LCD can show the real-time information about screen status and the rich control panel supports quick setting of LED display no need of computer.

III.Hardware Connection


1.Power supply: AC 100-240V (50Hz-60Hz)

The red indicator Light: ON for power available

2.Connect video output device and 3D Sender through DVI/HDMI cable, can use DVI/HDMI cable at the same time according to requirement

3.Control signal connect

Connecting the computer and the 3D Sender with USB cable, the USB port of 3D sender can be used in any one of the two. This will be used for configuration of 3D Sender by operating computer

4.Ethernet Cable

Connect Receiving cards and 3D Sender by using Ethernet cable (Note: The cable must be CAT5E or CAT6)

IV.Operating Environment

4.1 Computer Configurations

●CPU Frequency >= 2.0GHZ

●Host Memory >= 1G

●Graphic card with DVI interface: Memory ≥512MB

Computer configuration can be adjusted according to the actual situation. Adjustment mainly aims at total pixels of LED display, complex playing program and whether playing HD video or not. Please note that the PC's graphic resolution should be equal to or more than LED display's.

4.2 USB Driver Installation

There are two methods for installation USB driver.

1、Check 'USB Drive For Sending Card' when install the LEDVISION, as you can see in following picture.


2、Open the CD-ROM, find the file name of "USB driver for sending card" and double click it to install.

4.3  Graphics Card Settings

Select duplicate or extend in graphics card mode, and their difference is that led display show the contents consistent with computer in duplicate mode, while in extend mode show only the window you want to display. (As shown in Fig.4-2)


How to change the mode, there have different ways in different computer. For example, WIN 7/8 system and NVIDIA graphics cards, please read the following settings ways.

●The first way: Hold down the WIN and P keys at once, and select the mode as you want in the pop-up window


●The second way: Right-click and select "screen resolution" to enter the page of "modify the display appearance"; if your graphics card is not NVIDIA and cannot find the setting interface please refer to the description of the graphics card.



V.3D setting


3D means three Dimension, which can show 3D effect according to the parallax of two eyes.

5.2Software settings

An example for illustrate the setting step: there has a LED display whose resolution is 1280*960 pixels and Receiver (Receiving card) is i5A. We use 4 ports of sender card to splice the screen. Divide the big screen (1280*960) into 4 small screen, each screen is 1280*240, A、B、C、D means four ports of sender card.Symbol means start point location (x,y) of the port control are, as shown bellowing:

For 3D display, it is set up step as following:

The first step: Run LEDVISION, and complete led screen basic parameter settings, Chapter VI has detailed set ways.

Special Note

Each network port of 3D sender, its control area is 327680 not 655360, It is mean that each port control area should less than 327680 (As above example, control area each port=1280*240=307200 < 327680)

The Second step: set up the resolution of sender card

Run LEDVISION, in i Series Mode (Click "Setting">"Software Setting", then select "i Series Mode" with the password "168").

Click "Control">"Screen Management" to enter the screen management interface by using password: 168. And select "Sender Card Setting"> Resolution > Custom (As shown in Fig.5-2)


In general, the width of sender card resolution is twice of the real width of LED display and plus 32 (32 for reserved depth of field, depth of field (DOF): also called focus range or effective focus range, is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image.).

And the height equal to be real LED display height. As the example above, LED display resolution is 1280*960, So that the resolution set up to 2592*960 (width=real width of LED display*2+32)

Click "Advanced Settings" and select "3D Setting" to enter 3D Parameter interface.


①check "Enable 3D" (As shown in Fig.5-5)


②video mode choose Side By Side, set parameters:

Direction Scale: the system default select is normal

Phase control: the system default select is right first

In control area, each ports right row star is calculated as follows:

Right row star=X+W/2+Z (X is column origin of each output port, W is the width of sender card resolution, Z is depth of field, DOF is generally set to 4 points or 8 points, should not be set up too large, otherwise it may cause the viewer to feel dizzy.).

According to above example, the width of sender card resolution is 2592

Column origin of ABCD port is 0

A Port's right column start =1300 (0+2592/2+4)

B Port's right column start =1300 (0+2592/2+4)

C Port's right column start =1300 (0+2592/2+4)

D Port's right column start =1300 (0+2592/2+4)

As you can see in Fig.5-6


③video mode choose Top and Bottom, set parameters:

Direction Scale: the system default is Normal

Phase control: the system default is right first

In this case, right row star = Y (Y is row start point of each port). According to above example, ABCD four ports right row star is 0,240,480,720.


④The parameter of signal delay time set up to be 0  (as shown in Fig.5-8)


⑤Click "Send" first and then click "save", it will be play 3D video after indicate success

VI.Parameter Configuration

First of all, please make sure the software is in i Series Mode before setting.

Click the "Setting" > "Software Setting" to enter the Software Management window (As shown in Fig.6-1), change the mode by using password: 168


6.1 Hardware Connection Check

Please make sure the hardware connection correct and software is in i Series Mode before setting.

6.1.1 Detect Sender Cards

Run software, click the "Control" > "Screen Management" to enter the Screen Management window, the Sender Mode select "By Sender Card", Click "Detect Sender Cards", the sender cards information will show in the interface, (as shown in Fig.6-2 ) Please check the hardware connection if cannot detect sender cards.


6.1.2 Detect Receiver Cards

Select network port and click "Detect Receiver Cards", the software will automatic acquisition the Receiver (Receiving card) quantity for each network port of the sending card. Please check cable if the numbers of receiver card are inconsistent with actual. (As shown in Fig.6-3)


6.2 Led Screen Setting

Click "Led Screen Setting" by using password: 168 to enter the Led Play Screen Setting interface, click "Advance Settings" (As shown in Fig.6-4)

6.2.1 Sender Card Setting


Sender Card Resolution: In general, it should be consistent with graphics cards

Input Signal Information: Software will automatically collect parameter from the sender card.

Advanced Settings: This feature is only for professional and technical personnel to set up special applications, nonprofessional personnel are not allowed to operate. It contains the following parameters setting in Advanced Settings.

◆3D Setting: This item only for set up 3D transmitter's feature. Chapter V has detail set ways.

◆Write Logo: Can be written to the customer specified image such as logo, and display before the video signal is not input.

◆Zero Frame Delay: Enabled by the professional and technical personnel, otherwise it will display abnormally

◆Auto Switch (DVI, HDMI): The transmitter only identifies the set of video signals when selected; the signal of the first access can be automatically identified when not checked.

◆Adjust Brightness Based on Multi-function Card: Check it if you need multifunction's light sensor automatically adjusts the LED screen's brightness.

◆Network Date Types: The software default is "Standard Frame"; please consult professional and technical personnel if you want changing.

◆Frame Output: The software default is "Every Frame"; please consult professional and technical personnel if you want changing.

◆Input Bit Depth: The software default is "8bit"

◆Signal Input Type: Select HDMI or DVI according to the interface of video source devices.

◆Sync Method: the software default is "Auto Select"

6.2.2 Screen Parameters

Observe the display screen with single cabinet as unit, if all cabinets display normally (the picture between cabinets is not continuous but also as normal), please ignore this step directly into next step.

Otherwise, enter the following configuration:

The first step: Click "Load" to select the correct parameter file for your led display


The second step: Click "Send" to send the parameter to receiving cards, at this moment, all cabinets should display normally (the picture between cabinets is not continuous but also as normal), then click "Save To Receiver".

Please contact display manufacturer of engineering and technical personnel if display abnormally.

6.2.3 Connection Parameters (Look From Front)

In i Series Mode, LED screen just need set up the Receiver (Receiving card) connection relationship for each network port of the sending card, the software will automatically calculate the each network port control area. Specific setting as following

1)Receiver Lay out Setting

Set how many Receiver (Receiving card) are used in Row Count and Col Count (6*6 as an example), how many pixels one Receiver (Receiving card) manages in Width and Height (64*64 as an example), in the software interface right you will see led display mapping area (Viewing from the front of led display).


2)Receiver Card Parameters Setting

Select corresponding "Sender No." and "Port", when conduct Receiver (Receiving card) connection. Configuration Receiver (Receiving Card) connection pattern for each network port individually if more than one port are used. There are two methods to set up.

Note: Set up connection Receiver (Receiving Card) must be based on fact.


●Select One by One by Using Mouse Select One By One

Based on the actual connection of the Ethernet cable, click the Receiver (Receiving card) one by one until the last one of this port load, connection lines will show in the display mapping area (Viewing from the front of led display) (As shown in 6-8)


●Connection pattern

Select the connection pattern based on fact, and then select this port load Receiver (Receiving card) in the display mapping area. (As shown in 6-9)


If some Receiver (Receiving card) manage different quantity of pixels from others, specific Receiver (Receiving card) Size in Width and Height can be set individually. (As shown in 6-10)


3)Send to Receiver

After set up the Receiver (Receiving card) parameters and connection pattern for each network port of the sending card, LED display will available when click "Send".

Please determine that no mistake then click "Send to Receiver" to save the parameter in Receiver (Receiving card).


VII.Operating Instructions for Button

7.1Shortcut Key

7.1.1Function Key

Press "Fn", keep the indicate light on then press other related number key for formation shortcut key. Other keys are automatically disabled when enable "Fn" key.

7.1.2Shortcut Key Function Table

Lock    the screen

Press    Fn key then press 0 key, the light on and screen will be lock, LED screen    resume playback press "0" key again.


Adjust    brightness

Rotate    the "Spin bottom" after press Fn and 1 key to adjust brightness.


Test    mode

Press    Fn then press 2 key, two lights on, then can rotate "Spin bottom" to select test pattern, including 16 test    modes (1,normal; 2,red; 3,green; 4,blue; 5,white; 6,vertical bar;    7,horizontal bar; 8,left oblique line; 9,right oblique line; 10,move down the    white squares; 11,gradual change red; 12,gradual change green; 13,gradual    change blue; 14,gradual change white; 15,black;16,logo )


Detect    receiver cards

Press    "Fn" then press "3", the information of receiver cards will be display on LCD    Panel.


Theme    switch

Press    "Fn", then press 4 key, can switch theme interface.


Language    switch

Press    the "Fn" first and then press "5" to change language.


Switch    the color of word

Press    "Fn" first and then press "5" to change the color of word



Press    "Fn" first and then press "9" to switch between 2D and 3D Mode

7.2Operation illustrate

3D Sender has rich control panel, it can settings and operations LED display no need of computers. Press "Menu" to enter the set up menu interface.


7.2.1Screen Control

Select "Screen Control" and press "OK" or "spin button" key to enter the setting interface (As shown in Fig.7-2)


1)  Detect Sender: Select "Detect Sender" then press "OK" key, LCD panel will show sender cards information

2)  Detect Receiver: Select "Detect Sender" then press "OK" key, LCD panel will show receiver card number of the every port load.


3) Connection: Select "Connection" press "OK" key to enter the setting interface (As shown in Fig.7-4)


Select related port from the A,B,C,D to enter the setting interface. Then can see 【Net Port Offset】【Receiver's Num】【Connection Type】【Save】etc.

①Setting Net Port Offset

Select the "Net Port Offset" press "OK" key to enter the setting interface (As shown in Fig.7-5)

"Right"and "Low" represented the X-axis and Y-axis which is based on the upper left corner of this port control area as starting point. Effective immediately when enter any numerical of 0-9999.


②Receiver's Num

Select "Receiver's Num" and press "OK" key to enter setting interface, Effective immediately when enter numerical (number of rows * number of columns <1024), then press "OK" key to exit.


③Connection Type

Press "OK" key can see 8 kinds of connect relations, normal setting can finish by rotating "spin button" to select options. * Symbol means now are input status; after change it, press return key to come back.



Press "OK" key to save "port offset" "receiver cards number" "connect relations" "save" and get the height and width of receiver cards automatically.


Select "Screen Control" and press "OK" key to enter the setting interface (As shown in Fig.7-8)


1) Brightness Adjust: Press "OK" key to enter the brightness percent interface, can adjust brightness by rotate "spin button", then press "OK" key to save; If no press action, will save automatically after 10s.


2) Color TEMP: Select Color TEMP auto setting by rotate "spin button", then press return key to come back, if no press action, it will save automatically after 10s.


3) Screen OFF: Select "Screen OFF" press "OK" key to turn OFF/ON the screen, you can press "Black" to turn off/on the screen also.

4) 3D OFF: Press "OK" to turn OFF/ON 3D



Normally resolution: Now there are 3 kinds normally resolution setting and custom resolution setting; choose resolution by rotate spin button


User-defined: Input number to set the Height and Width of resolution, noted that input the number from high to low, for example: 1920, the order is 1,9,2,0. If the mistake resolution, just need to rotate "spin button" then move back and amend the resolution.


2)Frame: Press "OK" key to enter setting interface then rotate "spin button" to select what's kind of output mode. "OK" for exit.


3)Read DVI Information

Select "DVI Info" and press "OK" key to show DVI information on LCD panel.

4)Test Pattern

Press "OK" key to enter, rotate "spin button" to choose related test pattern (1,normal; 2,red; 3,green; 4,blue; 5,white; 6,vertical Line; 7,horizontal Line; 8,Left Slash; 9,Right Slash; 10,Pane; 11,Gradient Red; 12,Gradient Green; 13,Gradient Blue; 14,gradient white; 15,black; 16,logo).


5)Time Setting

Press "OK" key to enter, input number can set definite time of sender card.


7.2.4Language Setting

Select "Language" in the menu and press "OK" key to enter the setting interface, then chose the language as you want


7.2.5Theme Setting

Press "OK" key to select the theme you need


●Theme1: Select theme1 to default

●Theme1: Select theme1 to default

●Time to Back: Set up come back to default theme time if no action

●Time to Sleep: Set up turn off the LCD panel time if no action
